How do I season my new Char-Griller for the first time?
Before cooking, coat all interior surfaces with vegetable oil and heat the grill to 250°F for two hours. This creates a non-stick surface and protects your grates from rust.
What is the standard shipping time for heavy smokers?
Due to weight, smokers are shipped via freight and typically arrive within 7-10 business days. You will receive a tracking number once the pallet leaves our warehouse.
What kind of warranty is offered on your grills?
We offer a 5-year warranty on the main grill body and a 1-year warranty on all other parts, including grates and ash pans, against manufacturing defects.
Can I use charcoal in a gas-only Char-Griller model?
No, charcoal should never be used in a unit designed specifically for gas. However, our Duo and Trio models feature dedicated chambers for both fuel types.
What is your return policy for assembled units?
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Please note that items must be in their original packaging; we cannot accept returns on units that have already been assembled or used.
Are replacement parts available for older models?
Yes, we stock a wide variety of replacement parts including warming racks, thermometers, and fireboxes to ensure your grill lasts for many seasons.
